Mayapura, India
Way to Go
I've had some good discussions with old peers and new
peers. One conclusion that came out of
one of those discussions was that it's a sin to be pessimistic. Another one was that although the world seems
unfair, we should strive for fairness.
I also talked with someone about succession, which is a common
theme in our Vedic historical texts. My
realization was if you don't have a plan for someone to succeed you, you won't
succeed.
In that regard, I see the power of God. Krishna is helping me so much by providing
reliable, responsible people. I have a
responsible co-director, martial artists, a professional dancer—Rukmini, and
even a trained actor who tells us that she's the niece of acclaimed actor Peter
Ustinov. Wow! So, I'm blessed.
Blessings are plentiful.
We just need to register them. I
have people in our community theatre company who are from all over: India,
Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Africa, South America and North America. That's pretty good! Krishna is sending talent and people who are
enthusiastic to learn and serve.
And it's always a blessing to walk in this beautiful rural
area. You can go in any direction except
westerly. You'll fall into the Ganges
and likely will get swept away. Some
people consider being taken by the sacred water to be a privilege and think it can
lead to liberation. I think it's best to
lead that good life in service to others, die naturally with dignity, and then
have one's ashes tossed in the Ganga.
Not a bad way to go.
May the Source be with you!
